Comparison of Flashlights and why the SSC-P7 is awesome!

I posted this last year but I wanted to repost it on my blog.
All of these photos were taken on Manual setting, ISO 400, 1/30 shutter, 2.6 Aperture.
All lights had fresh batteries, all lights were placed in the same location.
Note that these settings were chosen to ensure the last light was not overexposed, but since the SSC is so much brighter, it results in the other lights appearing much dimmer than they really are.
UER single-LED Flashlight:
3W Luxeon:
4D-cell Maglight:
100-LED light:
500 Lumen XENON light:
SSC P7 light:
These are the lights that were used, in the same order as here
As you can see, the SSC-P7 light is way, way brighter than any of the others. It's a sweet light.

Where can you get one of these SSC-P7's? Do they have different types?

how long will the batteries last in the P7?

About an hour or so at full brightness, and then it gets dimmer, maybe 2-3 hours total runtime.
